Step 3: Choose the Stream Length
Find the closest stream length in the chosen “Gravel Depth” column.
Stream Length: The horizontal measurement of the stream channel.
Note: Height of the waterfall is not a factor when calculating stream length.
Step 4: Pump Flow (GPM)
Pump Flow: The flow in gallons per minute (GPM) required to
provide approximately 3/4” of water flowing over the stream bed.
NOTE: It is suggested that a ball valve is installed somewhere along the pipe
between the pump to the beginning of the waterfall. This provides the option of
increasing or decreasing the flow of water as desired. If converting to gallons
per hour (GPH) multiply the number by 60.
Step 5: Hybri-Pond Pack
This is the Hybri-Pond Pack that meets the specifications for the installation.
NOTE: If the installation falls between two sizes of Hybri-Pond Packs, choose
the larger to ensure that water storage requirements are fully met.
